Finding a good marinade is a real game changer. You don't even need a grill for this one either, so you can satisfy that tropical craving, even with snow on the ground. Now do you see why this is the Best Shrimp Marinade? Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 pound raw shrimp, tail-on and thawed (if frozen)
- fresh parsley, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -In a medium bowl, add the olive oil, the soy sauce, the rice vinegar, the honey, the Worcestershire sauce, the Dijon mustard, the garlic, the kosher salt, and the freshly ground black pepper and stir until the Dijon is fully incorporated.
Step 2 -Place the shrimp in the bowl and toss to combine.
Step 3 -Place the bowl in the refrigerator and let it marinate for 1 hour.
Step 4 -Preheat the oven to the broil setting.
Step 5 -Thread the marinated shrimp onto wooden skewers, with the tails in alternating directions.
Step 6 -Broil the shrimp skewers, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F and are opaque, about 2 minutes per side.
Step 7 -While the shrimp skewers are in the oven, place the remaining marinade in a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 8 -Serve the shrimp drizzled with the warm marinade and garnished with the parsley.
