Summer Crack Chicken is delicious and captivating, and actually fairly simple to make! Consider us hooked! The chicken is slow cooked in tangy, rich cream cheese with a splash of hot sauce and zesty ranch seasoning to make each bite brilliantly tasty! Then the chicken is shredded and served on rolls... and that's it! What else could you need with Summer Crack Chicken, besides another helping?
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
- hot sauce, to taste
- 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch seasoning
- rolls, optional, to taste, of your choice, for serving
Directions
Step 1 -In a slow cooker, add the chicken breasts, the cream cheese, the hot sauce, and the ranch seasoning and stir briefly to combine.
Step 2 -Cover the slow cooker and cook until the chicken breasts reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 6-8 hours on low or 4-6 hours on high.
Step 3 -Shred the chicken in the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Step 4 -Serve on the rolls.
