Ingredients
- 3 red cabbage steaks, sliced 1-inch-thick
- 3 green cabbage steaks, sliced 1-inch-thick
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 -Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 3 -Arrange the cabbage steaks on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4 -Place 1 tablespoon of the butter on each piece of the cabbage, spreading it evenly across the surface.
Step 5 -Season the cabbage steaks with the salt, the pepper, and the caraway seeds.
Step 6 -Roast the cabbage until it is tender and lightly browned around the edges, about 20-25 minutes.
Step 7 -Cool the cabbage for 5-10 minutes.
Step 8 -Serve warm.
