This Cool Chicken Dump Bake is really, well, cool. Like, it's confident you're going to be amazed by its cheesiness that so seamlessly surrounds its likewise tender chicken and juicy veggies. It also knows you'll want to recreate its tangy ranch flavors and the crispy crunch of its perfectly placed chips time and time again. So, follow the trend and make Cool Chicken Dump Bake! It's the cool thing to do!
Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
- 1 1/2 cups Colby Jack, mozzarella, or cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 (10-ounce) can tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1/2 (1-ounce) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 (9.25-ounce) bag Doritos® Cool Ranch® chips, coarsely crushed, divided
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Coat a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3 -In a large bowl, stir the chicken, 1 cup of the cheese, the condensed soup, the milk, the sour cream, the tomatoes and green chilies, and the ranch seasoning together.
Step 4 -Place 1/2 of the chips in the bottom of the prepared baking dish and top with the chicken mixture.
Step 5 -Cover the dish with foil and bake until heated through, about 20-25 minutes.
Step 6 -Sprinkle the casserole with the remaining cheese and the remaining chips.
Step 7 -Bake the casserole, uncovered, until the cheese has melted, about 5 minutes.
Step 8 -Serve.
